Poroshat Shekarloo, MD

Dr. Poroshat Shekarloo is an Obstetrician–Gynecologist at Be Well Primary Health Care Center in Brooklyn, where she provides comprehensive women’s health care with a special focus on perimenopause and menopause. She earned her medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science and completed her OB-GYN residency at North Shore–LIJ Health System (Northwell Health). A passionate advocate for midlife women’s health, Dr. Shekarloo helped launch Brooklyn’s first Comprehensive Menopause Center at Maimonides Medical Center. Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Shekarloo is the founder of MAAHSA (Maternal and Adolescent Health Safety Alliance) and serves as Director of Global Health, advancing equitable care for women both locally and abroad.
