Sumanth Channapatna-Suresh, MD

Sumanth C. Suresh, MD, FACS is a board-certified general surgeon and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons who provides advanced, compassionate surgical care with a patient-first, team-based approach. He is known for clear communication, thoughtful surgical planning, and close follow-up that helps patients and families feel informed and supported at every step. Dr. Suresh earned his medical degree from the Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences and completed postgraduate training across several renowned centers: an internship at Westchester Medical Center, residency at Saint Mary’s Hospital, and fellowships at Westchester Medical Center, Montefiore Medical Center, and Mount Sinai Medical Center. Drawing on this breadth of experience, he partners closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver safe outcomes.
